- It is good to worship God with banana on Thursday, donate banana and take it as Prasad. But those who keep fast on Thursday, they should not eat banana themselves.
- Like 16 Mondays, there is a law to observe fast on 16 Thursdays. If you have taken a fast on Thursday, then you must keep fast on at least 16 Thursdays. You can keep fast more than this according to your resolution.
- Light only pure ghee lamp in worship on Thursday. By this one gets the blessings of Lord Jupiter and Lord Vishnu.
- Avoid eating urad dal, non-vegetarian food and alcohol on Thursday.
- Banana, yellow lentils, jaggery, yellow clothes, sweets etc. should be donated on Thursday to get the blessings of Lord Jupiter and Lord Vishnu.
- Along with this, in these scriptures, works like cutting nails, cutting hair, shaving, washing clothes, mopping and washing women’s hair etc. are considered prohibited on Thursday.
