Gujarat Building Collapsed: A three-storey building collapsed on Friday in Jamnagar city of Gujarat. Three people died and five people were injured in this accident. State The family of the deceased will get Rs 4 lakh and the injured will get Rs 50,000 from the government.
The building was built three decades ago
Earlier, four people were rescued safely in the rescue operation conducted by the fire brigade, while the local residents claimed that eight to ten people could be buried under the debris. An official said, “A three-storey residential building in Sadhna Colony collapsed in the evening. The operation is on and four people have been rescued. The building was constructed by the Gujarat Housing Board about three decades ago.

After the incident, DN Modi, senior municipal officials and local MLA Divyesh Akbari reached the spot and the rescue operation is going on under their supervision. Locals told that the building was dilapidated and there were people inside when the building collapsed at 6 pm. He told that three-four people have been taken out of the debris and admitted to the hospital, while eight to ten people are suspected to be buried under the debris.
