Threat to blow up RBI with bomb, mail received in Russian language, police investigation underway

Reserve Bank of India has received a bomb threat. A threatening e-mail appeared on the official website of the Reserve Bank of India on Thursday afternoon. This email was sent in Russian language and it talked about blowing up the Reserve Bank. In this matter, a case has been registered against unknown accused at Mata Ramabai Marg (MRA Marg) police station.

Last month also a similar case had come to light when a call was received on the customer care number of the Reserve Bank of India and a person had identified himself as the CEO of Lashkar-e-Taiba. He had also threatened to blow up the Central Bank with a bomb.
