‘Those who have been away from power for a decade are conspiring against the country’, PM Modi said in Odisha

PM Modi in Odisha: Prime Minister Narendra Modi While addressing a public meeting in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha on Friday (29 November), he has fiercely attacked the opposition parties. He said that those who consider power as their birthright, the people of the country have kept them away from power for the last 10 years. In his address, PM Modi highlighted the achievements of BJP and the policies of the Central Government and sought support from the public for the upcoming elections.

PM Modi said in his address that some political parties consider power as their “birthright”. He alleged that when these parties were kept away from power, their anger started coming down on the people of the country. He said that now they are conspiring against the country. Now these people are working to mislead the public by running a shop of lies. We have to be cautious of such people, you have to avoid them. These power hungry people were earlier calling the watchman a thief, but now the watchman has become honest. He did not get a chance to abuse the Chowkidar in the 2024 elections.

Impact of BJP’s policies and public support
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while mentioning the policies of his government and their benefits, told how his government made the lives of the poor easier. He especially said for Odisha that for the first time the Chief Minister was seen actively visiting the villages. Describing the election of Odisha President Draupadi Murmu as a symbol of pride for the tribal community, he said, “I am happy that due to the efforts of BJP, the tribal daughter of Odisha Draupadi Murmu Today she is the President of the country. This has increased the pride of the tribal society of the entire country. With Murmu ji occupying the highest post in the country, the confidence of daughters of every section has increased. This journey of a tribal daughter will inspire for many generations to come.”

Election victory and strength of BJP
Emphasizing the growing power of BJP in Haryana, Maharashtra, and Odisha, PM Modi said that political experts had written off the BJP in Odisha, but the election results proved them wrong. He said, “The people of Odisha gave a befitting reply to all the ‘Tees Maar Khans’. BJP got immense support not only in Odisha but also in Haryana and Maharashtra.” Describing the experiences of Odisha festival, the Prime Minister recalled the grandeur of Odia culture and heritage.

What did the PM say on the dignity of the Constitution and democracy?
Emphasizing the spirit of the Constitution and the dignity of democracy, the Prime Minister said, “Some people are crushing the spirit of the Constitution and rejecting the dignity and norms of democracy.” He also said that political opposition is natural, but it should be within limits.
