In the year 2024, no batsman in the world has yet been able to touch the figure of 2,000 runs in all three formats of international cricket. 15 batsmen have crossed the mark of one thousand runs.
Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis is the highest international run scorer in 2024. This year he has scored 742 runs in ODI, 572 runs in T20 and 490 runs in Test. Mendis has scored a total of 1,804 runs in 2024.
India’s Yashasvi Jaiswal has scored a total of 1,601 runs so far in 2024. He has scored 1308 runs in Test matches and 293 runs in T20.
Harry Brook of England has scored a total of 1,574 runs this year. He has scored 1099 runs in Tests, 312 runs in ODIs and 163 runs in T20 matches.
Pathum Nissanka of Sri Lanka has 1569 runs in his name so far in 2024. Nissanka has scored 380 runs in Test matches, 694 runs in ODIs and 495 runs in T20 this year.
England’s Joe Root has scored 1502 runs so far in the year 2024. All these runs of his have come in test matches. He did not play a single ODI or T20 match this year.
