Pakistan On Quran: Protests are still going on in Pakistan against Sweden regarding the incident of burning Quran on Eid. Pakistan observed protest day on Friday (July 7) on this incident. The same day Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) leader Saad Hussain Rizvi said that Pakistan should declare war on Sweden to stop blasphemy against Islam.
Countrywide protests against Sweden began after Friday prayers in Pakistan, days after a man tore and burned a Quran outside the Central Mosque in Stockholm, Sweden, on June 28. There is a lot of anger against Sweden in Muslim countries. At the same time, the NATO Secretary General defended saying that the incident was offensive and objectionable, but not illegal.
‘We declare war against you’
During protests in Pakistan, TLP leader Saad Hussain Rizvi said that Pakistani PM along with his navy, army and air force chiefs should call the ambassador of Sweden and tell that Pakistan was formed in the name of Islam and you insulted our Quran That’s why we declare war against you. He said that by doing this, blasphemy will end in the world in a minute.

The call for protests in Pakistan was given by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif. He wrote, “To express our feelings and emotions regarding the desecration of the Holy Quran at the hands of an unfortunate person, we all will protest today under the title of Holy Quran Day across the country and all Pakistani Muslims will come out after Friday prayers.” Will take action.

Pakistan’s PM Shehbaz Sharif on Friday passed a resolution in the Pakistan Parliament urging Sweden to take appropriate steps against the desecration of the Quran. Meanwhile, protesters protested outside the Pakistan Supreme Court, demanding the end of all diplomatic relations with Sweden.

Last week, Pakistan-based terrorist group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LEJ) threatened attacks on Christian minorities and churches in Pakistan in retaliation for the Quran burning incident in Sweden. Meanwhile in India former Mayor of Aligarh Mohammad Furqan wrote to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Requested strict action against those behind the burning of Quran in Sweden.
