UNSC China expressed concern in the meeting

China’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Fu Kang, expressed concern about this during the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) meeting on Syria on Wednesday (January 8). Meanwhile, China’s permanent representative to the UN, Fu Kang, said that China is very concerned about the reports that the Syrian army has recently appointed many foreign terrorists to high positions in the army, including banned terrorists. The head of the council of the organization East Turkmenistan Islamic Movement i.e. ETIM is also included.

China asks Syria to fulfill anti-terrorism obligations

According to the PTI report, China called on Syria to fulfill its anti-terrorism obligations and prevent any terrorist group from using Syrian territory to threaten the security of other countries.

At the same time, according to Syrian media, the new government led by Ahmed al-Shara has appointed 50 new military officers, which include six foreign fighters including fighters of China’s banned terrorist organization East Turkmenistan Islamic Movement or ETIM.

Uyghur extremists have been involved in terrorist activities against China

It is noteworthy that members of Uyghur extremist groups have been involved in terrorist activities against China for a long time. These groups have been fighting for the rights and freedom of Uyghur Muslims in China.
