Deepika Chikhalia married Hemant Topiwala on 22 November 1991. In a post, Deepika had shared with fans how she met her life partner.

Deepika had told that she met her husband on the sets of an ad shoot. At that time Hemant had come to the set to watch the shoot and that was when both of them met for the first time.

Posting her photo in bridal attire, Deepika wrote- ‘You all know how Sita met Ram. I thought I would tell you how I met my real life Ram. Deepika told that ‘she met Hemant for the first time on the sets of her debut film ‘Sun Meri Laila’, when she had to do an ad for ‘Shrangaar Kajal’.

Deepika had told that, ‘After that we both got busy in our lives, but we both kept missing each other. After years, both of them met again in the beauty parlor. After this, both of them met on 28 April 1991 through a family friend.

At that time Deepika and Hemant talked to each other for two hours. In these 2 hours both of them realized that they should get married. Just then Deepika and Hemant came home and told their respective families about each other.

After this, Deepika Chikhalia and Hemant Topiwala decided to get married and the very next day on 29 April 1991, both of them got engaged in the presence of family members. Then in the same year Deepika married her Ram.
