Congress leader’s burnt body found: The burnt body of a Congress leader was found in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu on Saturday (4th May). The Congress leader has been identified as KPK Jaikumar Dhansingh. He was the President of Tirunelveli (East) district unit of Congress.
According to NDTV report, Congress leader KPK Jaikumar Dhansingh was missing for the last two days. His dead body was found burnt in his own field. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and formed three special teams to investigate the death of the Congress leader.
Congress leaders went missing on Thursday
Tamil Nadu Police said Jayakumar had gone missing on Thursday and his son had filed a complaint the next day. Police have also found a letter written before the death of the Congress leader. However, the police is investigating whether he himself had written this letter. Besides, the police is also gathering information on aspects related to Jayakumar’s murder and suicide.

Superintendent of Police N Silambarasan said that the police is investigating all the facts related to the case and three special teams have been formed to investigate it. Police are also gathering information whether the Congress leader had written this letter before his death.
AIADMK targeted the government
At the same time, politics has also started in the state regarding the mysterious death of the Congress leader. AIADMK attacked the Stalin government of Tamil Nadu. He said that this incident shows that the law and order situation of the state is very bad. Former Chief Minister K. Palaniswami has demanded immediate arrest of those responsible involved in the incident.
