Actually, Karishma Tanna herself had revealed about this period. Karisma also got an important role in Rajkumar Hirani’s bumper hit film ‘Sanju’. In this film, Karisma appeared in the role of Ranbir’s friend’s girlfriend.

After working in the film ‘Sanju’, Karishma was hopeful that even though this role was small, it would help her in the industry.

Even Karishma Tanna did not get any work for the next several months after this film. Karishma struggled with stress without any work for almost a year. Karishma said many important things about her period of depression.

Karishma Tanna said, ‘Many times you keep moving towards a darkhole. Questions arise in your mind as to what life wants you to do.

Karishma told that, ‘I went into such depression that I started calling people and asking how they liked my acting in Sanju.’
