Forensic and dog squad team arrived with the police
Regarding the incident of theft in the bank, the statement of DCP East Shashank Singh said that Sandeep, manager of Overseas Bank located in Matiyari, Chinhat, had informed the police. Some people have broken into the bank by cutting the wall from the plant adjacent to the bank. On information, immediately police officers and forensic and dog squad teams reached the spot.

Shashank Singh further said that investigation has revealed that about four people have entered the bank by cutting the wall, some of them opened the locker and ran away with the things kept in it. There was another locker filled with Rs 12 lakh which according to the bank manager is safe. The alarm system of the bank was faulty and there was no guard, taking advantage of which the miscreants carried out this incident. Six teams have been deployed for the investigation, which also includes the crime team.
