Peru: You must have heard a lot about the theft incident. But rarely would you have heard about this type of theft, as we are going to tell. In fact, three thieves stole about 200 shoes from a shoe store in the city of Huancayo in central Peru. The special thing is that all the shoes that the thieves have stolen were of the right foot.
According to the police, the thieves carried out the theft incident at midnight. According to the BBC report, the 200 sneakers stolen by the thieves have been worth around $13,000. Media reports claimed that the thieves are now struggling to sell the stolen shoes. Police estimate that the thieves must have been in a hurry. They must have come to know about their mistake sometime after the theft.
After watching the CCTV footage, the police said that the thieves broke open the locks of the shop in the middle of the night. Based on the CCTV footage, the police said that the thieves had come on a tricycle. After stealing, the thieves took away the shoes with the help of a tricycle.
Police said – unusual theft
Regarding the incident, local police chief Eduan Diaz told the local media that we have collected evidence from the scene. This theft is very unusual. This is because the thieves have stolen only the shoes of the right foot. In such a situation, we are investigating the incident keeping many important aspects in mind. Diaz told that on the basis of CCTV footage and fingerprints, we will be able to trace the thieves.
The shopkeeper in whose shop the theft took place told the media that the thieves had stolen all the shoes on display. We only put the shoes of the right foot on display. In such a situation, there will be no benefit to the thieves. Although it has definitely caused my loss. It is beyond understanding why the thieves did this kind of theft.
