‘Thieves’ are taking decisions for Pakistan, ‘powerful dacoits’ are being spared, common man is being imprisoned – Imran Khan

Former Pakistan Prime Minister and PTI chief Imran Khan on Friday hit out at PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, saying “powerful dacoits” are getting away while the common man is being imprisoned. According to Dawn’s report- Khan said, thieves are taking decisions for the country. The former prime minister said free and fair elections are the only way forward, adding that Nawaz Sharif is not opting for fresh elections as the PML-N leaders know he will lose.

Imran said, Sharif family does not care about Pakistan. His entire family is abroad. Khan also questioned what right Nawaz Sharif has to take decisions about the country, alleging that the PML-N leader had stolen lakhs of rupees from the country and deposited them abroad.

That is why he (Nawaz Sharif) is scared, Khan said. He knows that if Imran Khan comes to power, he will hold Nawaz Sharif accountable. This is the reason why he wants to appoint his own army chief. The army chief is a professional soldier, but Nawaz Sharif is trying to make that person the Punjab police chief, he said. I know that Nawaz Sharif will ask the army chief to somehow get rid of Imran Khan.
