We responded to Pakistan after the Uri and Balakot attacks.”
Mentioned about surgical strike after Uri attack
Further referring to the terrorist attack in Uri, he said, “After this attack carried out by the Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), we launched special operations against terrorist camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Surgical strike was carried out using forces. “In this surgical strike in September 2016, Indian soldiers had destroyed many terrorist launch pads.”
‘Pulwama avenged by Balakot air strike’
Jaishankar did not stop here. He also remembered the air strike in Balakot, Pakistan. He said, in February 2019, 40 soldiers were martyred in a suicide bomb attack by a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist on a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) convoy in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. We took revenge by carrying out air strike in Balakot.
