Babar Azam India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2022: In the second match of Asia Cup 2022, Pakistan had to face defeat by 5 wickets against India. All-rounders Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja played an important role in India’s victory. Pakistan players gave a tough competition to India in this match. However, they could not achieve victory. Some of his mistakes were overshadowed by Pakistan captain Babar Azam.
Pakistan gave a tough fight to India. But the team lost due to its own mistakes. Pakistan’s poor batting was an important reason for the defeat in this match. In this Babar Azam reached to open. He had a great responsibility. But he got out after scoring just 10 runs. After Babar’s dismissal, no player except Rizwan could play a big innings.
Captain Babar Azam made the second important mistake by not removing Naseem Shah. Naseem was playing his debut match. Pakistan tried to get a good grip on the match. But the team failed in the end.
Naseem was given the 18th over. On the second ball of this over, there was a complaint of cramp in Naseem’s leg. They were walking lame. But despite this Babar allowed him to bowl. However, after this he did LBW to Jadeja. But Jadeja survived after taking DRS. Jadeja hit a six on the 5th ball of this over. This six was very heavy for Pakistan.
Babar Azam should have got the last two balls of the 18th over done by some other bowler. Had there not been a wicket, probably only the runs would have survived. However this did not happen.
Babar also made mistakes during fielding. When India needed 21 runs from 12 balls to win, he missed the ball on the third ball of the 19th over. Here Babar had a chance to save the run. But due to his mistake, the four went away.
