Punjab Kings Arshdeep Singh IPL 2025 Team: Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh has been bought back by Punjab Kings for Rs 18 crore using the Right to Match card. Sunrisers Hyderabad had bid Rs 15.75 crore on Arshdeep, but PBKS played the RTM card. After the Right to Match card, SRH increased its bid to Rs 18 crore, but Punjab matched that too and added Arshdeep.
Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings were the first to bid on Arshdeep Singh. Chennai did not spend much money on Arshdeep, going for Rs 7.25 crore, but Delhi tried till Rs 9.50 crore. From here a competition was seen between RCB and Gujarat Titans, but Royal Challengers Bangalore also gave up hope after going to Rs 10.5 crores. Rajasthan Royals also tried, making their first bid at Rs 11 crore, but the RR management also refused to spend more than Rs 15.50 crore.
Punjab snatched Arshdeep from Hyderabad
Sunrisers Hyderabad had included Arshdeep for Rs 15.75 crore, but Punjab Kings had the right to match card left. Punjab agreed to play the RTM card, but Sunrisers Hyderabad made its next bid to Rs 18 crore. After some deliberation, Punjab management matched the increased bid of SRH and included Arshdeep again.
Earlier, Punjab Kings had retained only 2 players in the form of Shashank Singh and Prabhsimran Singh. Punjab had a purse of Rs 110.5 crore left, but after spending Rs 18 crore on Arshdeep Singh, PBKS has Rs 92.5 crore left in its purse.
