Most corona cases in these states
The Health Ministry told in the press conference that, corona cases are decreasing in the world, 40 percent of the cases are coming from 10 countries. There have been 67084 cases in India in the last 24 hours. The infection rate is 4.4%. The Ministry of Health has also given information about which states are registering the maximum number of corona cases. In which Kerala has the highest number of cases. Apart from this, corona is also highest in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
However, now there is a decrease in the positivity rate. Kerala has a 32 percent positivity rate. Which was 46 percent in the last days. In other states too, the positivity rate seems to be decreasing continuously.
In this press conference, Dr VK Paul, member of NITI Aayog said that, the current situation of Corona is looking much better, but in some states like Kerala, Mizoram and Himachal Pradesh, a large number of cases are coming. We need to be careful.
Many states have completed 100% vaccination
It was told by the ministry that the infection is now under control. The number of districts has increased where the infection rate is less than 5 percent. There have been 433 such districts. Giving information about the vaccine, it was told that a total of 171.28 crore doses have been given so far.
The number of such states has also increased where 100% vaccine dose has been given.
Along with this, it was also told that from February 14, the guidelines of Revised International Arrival will be applicable. Random testing and sampling of passengers coming from all over the world will be done. There will be random sampling of about 2 percent of the passengers.
