There has been a stir after bomb threats were received in more than 100 schools of Delhi-NCR. Parents took their children home from schools where bomb threat mails were received. These include high profile schools like DPA of Dwarka, Mother Mary of Mayur Vihar and Sanskriti School of New Delhi besides DPS of Noida. The fire department has so far received calls from 97 schools, where investigation is underway.
After receiving news of bomb in Delhi schools, Delhi Police asked DCPs of all the districts to be on alert. Special Cell of Delhi Police and IFSO Unit of Delhi Police have been deployed to investigate the emails sent to schools. Nothing suspicious has been found from any school so far.
DCP New Delhi’s statement
DCP New Delhi Devesh Kumar Mahala said, “As a precaution and based on information, we have checked all the schools and nothing has been found. We appeal to everyone that there is no need to panic.”
What did the DCP of East Delhi say?
East Delhi DCP Apoorva Gupta said, “After receiving the information, our teams reached the spot and the students have been sent to their homes. Checking is being done with the help of the bomb squad. We appeal that there is no need to panic.” Is.”
DCP South West’s reaction?
DCP South West Rohit Meena said, “We received information that the same email was sent to several schools at around 4:15 am. We took action and decided to close the schools. Send the students back home. Investigations are underway in all schools and our technical wing is examining the emails. This appears to be a mass email. I would like to request the students and parents to remain calm. There is no need to panic. We are investigating each school and are in touch with the school administration.
