He said that it will turn into a cyclonic storm by tonight and it is likely to intensify. RK Jenamani said that his team is monitoring it completely. He said that something can be said about the arrival of monsoon in Kerala within one to two days. On the other hand, an alert has also been issued regarding the heatwave for the next few days.
How long will the heatwave last in which states?
According to the Meteorological Department, the heat wave is likely to continue in Bihar till June 10. Due to this people will have to face a lot of problems. Heatwave likely over Gangetic West Bengal till June 10, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal till June 9, Uttar Pradesh during June 7 to 10, East Jharkhand, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana till June 10 and Tamil Nadu till June 7 .
When will the monsoon start?
Earlier, the monsoon was about to hit Kerala on Sunday, but it did not start. The Indian Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of delay in this. The southwest monsoon usually hits Kerala on June 1 and can start seven days earlier or seven days later. In the months of May, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) had said that the monsoon could knock over Kerala by June 4.
