Delhi AAP MLA Protest: During the special session of the Delhi Legislative Assembly, there was a huge uproar on Monday. After the uproar, the proceedings of the house were adjourned till Tuesday. AAP has leveled allegations of scam against Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, against which AAP MLAs are sitting on a dharna in the assembly. This sit-in of the MLAs will continue throughout the night. The motion of trust vote was also introduced in the house today. During this, CM Arvind Kejriwal targeted the BJP fiercely. 1. The AAP government of Delhi has called a special session of the Legislative Assembly regarding the alleged scam in the liquor policy. The motion of trust vote was introduced in the assembly on Monday. During this, CM Arvind Kejriwal said that people are troubled by inflation across the country. People have stopped making vegetables for one time meal and are eating rotis with salt.

2. CM Arvind Kejriwal said that people think that inflation happens automatically, but no it is because the central government is levying tax on everything like curd, lassi etc. This has never happened before. Even the British never imposed tax on food items. He has also imposed tax on Garba dance. They are not using tax for the development of the people. Rather, he is putting money in the pockets of his billionaire friends.

3. Arvind Kejriwal said that why fuel is getting expensive? The price falls across the world, but it rises in India. This money goes to Operation Lotus. The Chief Minister said that leaving the AAP MLAs are offering Rs 20-20 crore to join the BJP. BJP had 800 crores to topple the Delhi government, but Operation Lotus failed here. He toppled governments in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Meghalaya, Goa, Manipur, Arunachal, Bihar, Assam and will soon do the same in Jharkhand.

4. After this, the Delhi Assembly was adjourned due to the uproar after Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal demanded a floor test. The assembly proceedings were adjourned till 11 am on Tuesday amid protests by AAP MLAs. Now the discussion on the trust vote will continue in the assembly on Tuesday.

5. The Aam Aadmi Party has accused the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi VK Saxena of a scam of Rs 1400 crore. AAP MLAs are sitting on a dharna under the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the assembly demanding an inquiry against the Lieutenant Governor and his removal from the post.

6. AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj said that all the MLAs will be on dharna in the house throughout the night. AAP alleged that Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena committed a scam of Rs 1,400 crore during demonetisation.

7. AAP MLA Durgesh Pathak accused the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi of carrying out the ‘Khadi scam’. According to AAP MLAs, this scam was done in the year 2016 at the time of demonetisation. At that time, LG Saxena was the chairman of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission. AAP accused him of giving new notes instead of old notes and said that this is a scam of Rs 1,400 crore.

8. Durgesh Pathak said that VK Saxena forced the cashier to exchange his old unaccounted notes. Khadi shops had stopped accepting old currency, but Vinay Kumar Saxena forced the cashier to take his cash and convert it into Khadi. Two Khadi cashiers exposed the scam, but Vinay Kumar Saxena himself investigated their allegations and suspended the cashier. The CBI never mentioned his name in his complaint. This is a clear case of money laundering and the matter should be investigated by the ED.

9. Accusing the Lt Governor, AAP MLAs also released the statements of the cashiers who exposed the matter. Cashiers Sanjeev Kumar and Pradeep Kumar Yadav said in the statement that this work was done by threatening them. He said that the old notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 were taken at the behest of the building manager. The manager had said that there is pressure from above chairman Vinay Kumar Saxena.

10. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said that there should be an inquiry against Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena regarding this scam. He should be removed from the post of LG till the investigation continues. Regarding these demands, AAP MLAs will stage a sit-in overnight in the Delhi Assembly premises.
