After this, the CM took a big decision and announced that the film has been made tax free in Gujarat. Let us tell you that before this, Rajasthan, Haryana, UP, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh also declared the film tax-free. The story of ‘The Sabarmati Report’ is based on the fire that broke out in a compartment of the Sabarmati Express train near Godhra station in Gujarat on February 27, 2002. 59 people were killed in that accident. Most of them were kar sevaks. After this incident, widespread riots broke out in the state. This story has now been shown very beautifully on the big screen.
