The number of final vacancies for SSC CGL exam 2022 has changed, now the exam will be held for this number of posts

Now how many posts will be recruited

According to the revised schedule, now a total of 36001 posts will be recruited through SSC CGL in various departments. Out of these, 15408 posts are for General, 5571 posts are for SC category, 2888 posts are for ST category and 8336 posts are for OBC as well as 3798 posts have been fixed for EWS category.

Earlier there was vacancy for so many posts

The list of vacancies released on April 27 has been changed and now the total number of vacancies has been reduced. Earlier the total vacancy was 36012 for General, SC, ST, OBC and EWS candidates. There were 2940 posts of ESM, 451 of OH, 424 of HH, 277 of VH and 263 other PWD vacancies. These recruitments had come out for various Central Government Departments.

Exam was held on these dates

The commission conducted the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam from December 1 to December 12, 2022. While the Tier 2 exam was conducted from March 2 to 7 in computer-based mode. The results of Tier 1 exam were released on 2 February while the result of Tier 2 is likely to be announced soon.
