Baba Siddiqui Murder Case: The threads of the murder case of former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddiqui are being linked to Kaithal in Haryana. According to the claim of the two suspects arrested in this murder case, they are associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. One of these two suspects is Gurmel Baljeet Singh of Haryana. The family members of accused Gurmel say that they had evicted Gurmel from the house many years ago. The family members said, ever since we have thrown him out of the house, we have nothing to do with any of his activities.
Gurmel Kaithal is a resident of Nard, Haryana. In the name of family, only his elderly grandmother lives in his house. While talking to IANS, Gurmel’s grandmother told that about 11 years ago, she had thrown Gurmel out of her family. 60-year-old Phuli Devi (Gurmel’s grandmother) while talking to IANS said that he seems to be my grandson in relation. But at present it seems nothing to me.

The elderly woman told that you can kill him or leave him, we have nothing to do with him. We have had no trace of him for the last four-five months. Since then neither has he received any call nor has he come home. According to the information, the parents of the accused have died and Gurmel was not living in his village for a long time. Gurmel’s grandmother told that only she and one of her grandsons live in the house.
Mumbai Crime Branch team engaged in investigating the case
The accused Gurmel Kaithal was lodged in Kaithal jail in the year 2022 for murdering a youth. After that, after coming out on bail, he came in contact with Lawrence Bishnoi’s henchmen in Mumbai. It is also being told that Gurmel had come in contact with Lawrence Bishnoi’s henchmen in Kaithal jail itself. The accused, along with his associates, had conducted recce of Baba Siddiqui’s house and office. They were keeping an eye on Baba Siddiqui while staying in Mumbai for one and a half to two months. At present several teams of Mumbai Crime Branch are investigating this case.
