Shahjahanpur Molestation News: A case of alleged molestation of about 12 girl students studying there by the computer instructor of a school in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh has come to light, many of whom are said to be from Scheduled Castes. The police gave this information on Sunday. Tilhar’s Circle Officer (CO) Priyank Jain told ‘PTI-Bhasha’ that computer instructor Mohammad Ali allegedly molested about 12 girl students, including Scheduled Caste students, studying in upper primary school in Raipur Khurd under Tilhar police station.
He told that when the girl students complained about this to the headmaster Anil Kumar, he too did not take any action. The CO quoted the FIR lodged by the village head Lalta Prasad as saying that assistant teacher Sajia was also a participant in this case and on Saturday another Scheduled Caste girl student was molested by the same instructor Ali, after which the girl students went to their homes and informed their relatives. When told the whole thing, the relatives reached the school along with the villagers and created a lot of ruckus.
On information, the police officer himself reached the spot with the police force. Police has started investigation in the matter by registering a case against computer instructor Mohammad Ali, headmaster Anil Kumar and assistant teacher Sajia under sections of Scheduled Castes and Tribes and POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act and molestation. Jain told that the statements of the victim girl students were taken on the spot and the statements of the teachers of the school were also taken. He said that a complaint letter was also given to him by the village head Lalta Prasad. The villagers also showed the officers the toilet where objectionable material was found.
Basic Education Officer Kumar Gaurav told that he reached the school on the instructions of District Magistrate Umesh Pratap Singh and talked to the family members and villagers of the victim girl students. He told that the District Magistrate also inspected the school, in which prima facie the fault of the instructor seems to be there. Kumar said that investigation is being done in the matter and strict action will be taken against the guilty teachers after the investigation. VHP leader Suresh Sharma Pappu told that when he came to know about the matter, he reached the police station along with his colleagues, then on the instructions of the police officer Priyank Jain, the police registered an FIR in the matter.
