If the security forces are to be believed, the terrorists, desperate because of the G-20 meeting to be held in the Kashmir Valley in the month of May, have carried out this attack.

While the security forces are running a comprehensive search operation in the forests of Poonch in search of terrorists. At the same time, about 2 dozen people have been detained in this case so far. It is alleged that these people either fed the terrorists or helped them in one way or the other. The interrogation of these people is going on.

Search operation continues for terrorists

It has been almost a week since terrorists attacked an army vehicle in Poonch district of Jammu. Strong efforts are on by the security forces to nab the terrorists. In fact, on Thursday (April 20), terrorists ambushed an army vehicle in Poonch district of Jammu.

In this, 5 army soldiers were martyred. After this attack, a comprehensive search operation is being conducted to find the terrorists in the forests of Bhatta Durian of Poonch.

Army’s northern commander, Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi, had interacted with the jawans who narrowly survived the attack in the dense forest area of ​​Bhata Dhurian. During this, he had said that no stone would be left unturned in catching the terrorists responsible for this attack and taking action against them.

A portion of the Jammu-Poonch National Highway, which was closed after the attack, has been reopened for vehicular movement on Sunday (April 23).
