Telangana News: Accusing Telangana CM Revanth Reddy of corruption, Indian National Committee (BRS) working president and former minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) claimed that in February this year, A company of Revanth Reddy’s brother-in-law was given a government tender worth more than Rs. 1000 crores whereas it is a company with a profit of only Rs. 2 crores.
According to KTR, Shodha Infrastructure, the company of Revanth Reddy’s wife’s brother (brother-in-law) Sujan Reddy, got a contract worth Rs 1137 crore, whereas the profit of this company was only Rs 2.2 crore in the financial year 2021–22. This contract was one of the six tenders worth Rs 8888 crore issued by the Telangana government in February 2024 under the AmRUT scheme of the central government related to urban development. According to KTR, through corruption, Shodha Infrastructure got the contract without any qualification only because it is a company of a close relative of the CM.
Congress’s claim of loan waiver in Telangana is hollow
KTR has demanded cancellation of the entire tender and investigation of corruption by the agencies. He said that PM Modi himself accuses the Telangana government of corruption, so now he should take action. KTR also targeted Rahul Gandhi and said that Congress’s claim of loan waiver in Telangana is hollow and the caste census is a sham.
Demand for investigation of the matter from the Central Government
Let us tell you that KT Rama Rao, son of former CM KCR, met Union Housing and Urban Development Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in Delhi on Monday (November 11). After meeting, he appealed to take appropriate steps in the matter of corruption. Also demanded an investigation into this matter from the Central Government.
