India Squad Champions Trophy 2025: The hybrid model for Champions Trophy 2025 has been approved, but the schedule has not been announced yet. If Team India needs a backup opening batsman, then KL Rahul can be seen as an option.

If we look at the middle order, Virat Kohli will bat at number three. Rishabh Pant can come at number four, but there are still question marks over the fifth position. Let us remind you that this year Shreyas Iyer returned to Team India against Sri Lanka, where he was also seen playing at number 5. Hardik Pandya will be the first option for fast bowling all-rounder, while Ravindra Jadeja’s place in the team as a spin all-rounder seems almost certain. The Indian team will hope that Mohammed Shami will be completely fit by the Champions Trophy. Shami was the highest wicket-taker in the 2023 World Cup. He took 24 wickets in just 7 matches. Along with him, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj and Harshit Rana can also be selected in fast bowling.
