Team India has taken a decision on Rahul’s future, head coach Gautam Gambhir revealed


IND vs NZ Pune Test: Team India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir held a press conference on Wednesday before the Pune Test match. The second match of the Test series between India and New Zealand is to be played from Thursday. Gambhir answered many questions in the press conference. He also reacted on the issue of KL Rahul. Gambhir clearly said that Team India will support KL Rahul now. He also mentioned Rahul’s Kanpur Test innings. Rahul could not do anything special in the Bangalore Test.

Gambhir said in the press conference before the Pune Test, “Our social media playing eleven is not decided by social media. It is not important for us what people or experts think on social media, it is important for us what the team management thinks. He (KL Rahul) played a good innings on the difficult pitch of Kanpur. They want to score big. Our team management will support him.

Rahul had scored a half-century in the Kanpur test –

Team India had to face defeat in the first match of the Test series against New Zealand. KL Rahul was out on zero in the first innings of this match. He returned to the pavilion after scoring 12 runs in the second innings. Rahul had scored a half-century in the Kanpur Test against Bangladesh. He had played an innings of 68 runs. Gautam Gambhir did not reveal whether Rahul would be included in the playing eleven of the second test or not.

Rahul has played well for Team India in every format. He has played 53 test matches so far. During this period he has scored eight centuries and 15 half-centuries. Rahul has scored 2981 runs during this period. His best test score has been 199 runs.
