Pratipada Tithi of Chaitra Navratri i.e. March 22, 2023, the best time to establish Kalash is from 06.29 am to 07.39 am. Abhijit Muhurta is considered the best for Ghatasthapana, but this time Abhijit Muhurta is not used on the first day of Chaitra Navratri.

Kalash installation rules

Kalash should be in the right direction – Kalash is established and worshiped by considering it as a combined symbol of all the divine powers, pilgrimages etc. In such a situation, it is necessary to establish the Kalash in the right direction so that its virtuous fruit can be obtained. North-east (north-east) is the direction of the deities. The Kalash is established in this direction only.
