Fire department officials said that they were informed about the fire in the building at 10.50 pm, after which the fire was brought under control by going to the site. 18 vehicles were dispatched from the fire department on the spot.

The exercise to remove the debris with the help of JCB is also going on from the MCD side. There was a warehouse of readymade garments in the building, so as the debris is being removed, there is still fire in small pieces which are being extinguished. Earlier, a fire broke out in a commercial complex in Secunderabad, Hyderabad. In which six people including four women were killed. During the accident, people were taken out safely with the help of hydraulic crane.
