He said, ‘I am shocked by his resignation.’ Subhash Chopra said that Arvinder Singh Lovely has resigned from the post of Delhi Congress President, not from the Congress. It is not normal to resign from such a big post.

Meanwhile, the news is that Arvinder Singh Lovely will address a press conference today at 4 pm regarding his resignation. At present, by resigning from the post of State Congress President, he has shocked everyone. This is being considered a big blow for Congress amid the Lok Sabha election campaign. In his resignation, he has also mentioned the political reasons due to which he resigned. He was appointed to the post of Delhi Congress President by the party high command in August 2023.

Party leaders angry with alliance’s decision

According to former Delhi Congress President Arvinder Singh Lovely, the organization of Delhi Congress Lok Sabha Elections I was against the alliance with Aam Aadmi Party. AAP was formed on the sole basis of leveling false, fabricated and malicious corruption allegations against Congress. Despite this, the party decided to form an alliance with AAP in Delhi, which was not acceptable to the leaders and workers of the organization.

Arvinder Singh Lovely has also mentioned that this was the best option for me to overcome the situation of dissatisfaction arising due to the alliance in Delhi Congress. By doing this it will be possible to stop the ongoing infighting in Delhi Congress. He said that till date no senior leader of AICC has talked to me to calm the ongoing unrest in the Delhi unit.
