Student union elections were held peacefully in JNVU, students showed enthusiasm for voting

Rajasthan Student Union Election: The Jai Narain Vyas University student union election in Jodhpur was held peacefully today. A total of 10272 voters cast their votes for 78 candidates. There was a huge enthusiasm for the election among the students. Till the last minute the students came running to cast their votes. The long queue at the polling station caused some inconvenience to the girl students. Divyang students also participated in voting with the help of their peers. Jodhpur Police Commissioner Ravidutt Gaur told that 2000 police personnel were deployed to make the student union elections peaceful. Drones were also being monitored on the spot. Arvind Singh Bhati, Harendra Chaudhary, Rajveer Singh Banta were the candidates for the post of student union president in Jai Narayan Vyas University.

Akshay Meghwal, Jai Singh, Nidhi Rajpurohit, Oma Ram Dewasi, Oma Ram, Prashant Sharma, Somraj and Surya Prakash were in the fray for the post of vice-president. The students voted for Jitendra Deora, Narendra Vishnoi, Vatsal Parihar for the post of General Secretary. For the post of Joint General Secretary, Babulal, Chirag Singh Bhati, Dinesh Panwar, Manoj Prajapat, Mukesh, Pukhraj Vishnoi were standing. In Research Representatives, students voted in the names of Kundan Kanwar, Sunil Khati, Yashasvi Inaniyan. Komal Kanwar, MS Santosh, Sonia contested for the post of President in Kamala Nehru Girls College. For the post of Vice President Payal, Kavita, Sonu Rathod and for General Secretary Neelu Patel, Nikita Rathi, Tanu Kachhwaha entered the electoral fray.
