Punjab Sacrilege Incidents: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha has raised this issue in Parliament regarding the increasing incidents of sacrilege in Punjab. On Friday, Raghav Chadha has appealed to ensure severe punishment to the culprits in sacrilege incidents. Along with this, the Aam Aadmi Party MP has issued a Suspension of Business notice under Rule 267 in the Rajya Sabha to discuss amendments to the laws.
The MP issued a letter saying, “The House should suspend the business listed under Rule 29 to discuss the increasing cases of sacrilege. This is an issue that has caused anger and resentment among Punjabis living all over the world. For us, our There is nothing greater than the respect of Guru Sahiban, we can cut the lead, we can give our lives, but we can never tolerate the insult of Guru Sahiban, disrespect of Guru Sahiban’s bani.”
Incidents of desecration of Bhagwad Gita and Quran are also coming to the fore.
He wrote in his letter that in the last few years, several attempts of desecration of Guru Sahib by anti-social people have taken place in Punjab, in which in 2015 desecration of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in Bargari and holy Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta in Ludhiana took place. He said that the Bhagavad Gita, Holi Incidents of sacrilege of Bible and Quran are also coming to the fore.
