Stock Market Closing On 5th December 2022: The first trading day of the week was full of ups and downs for the Indian stock market. But due to the return of buying from lower levels, Nifty has closed in the green mark with Sensex falling. At the end of today’s trading, the Sensex fell by 34 points to 62,834 and the Nifty closed at 18,701 with a gain of 5 points.

Shares of banking, metals, real estate, commodity sector have been instrumental in the return of the Indian stock market from the lower level. Buying of shares of these sectors has been seen. While profit booking was seen in IT, Auto, Pharma, FMCG, Energy, Infra sector shares. However, buying was seen in mid cap and small cap stocks. Of the 30 Sensex stocks, 15 closed in the green and 15 closed down. On the other hand, out of 50 shares of Nifty, 27 shares closed with a rise and 23 shares with a decline. In today’s trade, out of 3794 stocks listed on BSE, 214 stocks closed with gains while 1484 stocks closed with losses. There is no change in the prices of 196 shares. 351 shares closed in upper circuit while 164 closed in lower circuit. The market cap of the market has reached Rs 290.42 lakh crore.
