Stock Market Closing On 23rd November 2022: The Indian stock market closed with a slight increase. A good boom was seen in the market in the day’s trading. Sensex was trading 363 points while Nifty was trading with a gain of 80 points. But profit-booking returned before the market closed, due to which the Mumbai Stock Exchange’s index Sensex closed at 61,510 points with a gain of 91 points, while the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty closed at 18,267 points with a slight gain of 23 points.

Barring the metals, IT, infra and consumer durables sector in the market, the shares of all the sectors rose. Sector shares like banking, auto, PSU, pharma, media closed sharply. Mid-cap and small-cap shares also closed sharply. Bank Nifty closed at 42,729 points with a gain of 272 points. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 24 closed with gains while 26 closed with losses. On the other hand, out of 30 shares of Sensex, 13 shares closed with a boom and 17 shares closed in the red mark.

If we look at the stocks in which buying was seen, SBI 1.44%, Bajaj Finance 1.43%, Dr Reddy’s Lab 1.31%, Kotak Mahindra 0.85%, Sun Pharma 0.76%, Maruti Suzuki 0.74%, NTPC 0.60%, Axis Bank 0.55%, ICICI The bank closed with a gain of 0.45 per cent, HDFC 0.43 per cent.

If you look at the stocks which saw profit booking, Power Grid 1.08 per cent, Tech Mahindra 0.66 per cent, Bharti Airtel 0.54 per cent, Bajaj Finserv 0.51 per cent, UltraTech Cement 0.50 per cent, HUL 0.45 per cent, Larsen 0.39 per cent, Reliance 0.31 per cent, Nestle 0.31 per cent TCS closed with a decline of 0.28 per cent.
