The third and last Test of the three-match Test series between Pakistan and England was played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. Pakistan won the match and won the series. Spinners dominate in Pune too
The second match of the three-match Test series between India and New Zealand is being played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. The third day of the competition continues on Saturday (26 October). Excellent spin was seen in the Pune Test from the very first day.
In the Test that started on Thursday (24 October) in Pune, New Zealand won the toss and decided to bat. New Zealand, who came to bat first, scored 259 runs. During this, Team India’s star spinner Washington Sundar took 7 wickets and Ravichandran Ashwin took 3 wickets.
Then in its first innings to bat, Team India was all out for 156 runs. During this, spinner Mitchell Santner took 3 wickets and Glenn Phillips took 2 wickets for New Zealand. Only one wicket went to fast bowler Tim Southee. Now the fourth innings of the match and the second innings of Team India is going on. The spinners seem to be dominating even in the fourth innings.
