SP MP Ramjilal Suman rejected the claim of there being a temple in Ajmer Sharif, ‘By his actions…’

Agra News Today: Controversy has started after the claim of Ajmer Sharif Dargah being a Hindu temple. National General Secretary of Samajwadi Party and Rajya Sabha MP Ramjilal Suman has come out in favor of Ajmer Sharif Dargah. He accused some people of spoiling the Ganga-Jamuni culture.

In fact, recently it was claimed that there was a temple at the Dargah of world famous Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. A petition has been filed in the court regarding this. Samajwadi Party MP Ramjilal Suman took on those who claimed that Ajmer Sharif Dargah is a Hindu temple.

SP MP gave this advice
Samajwadi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Ramjilal said, “Some people want to destroy our Ganga-Jamuni civilization, such people should desist from their actions.” He said, “The biggest personalities of the country and the world have reached the shrine of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.”

On the Ajmer Sharif Dargah controversy, SP national general secretary Ramjilal Suman said, “Some elements are trying to spoil the social harmony in our country. Our Ganga-Jamuni civilization and culture are being attacked.” He said, “Recently some crazy person went to court regarding the case of Ajmer Sharif Dargah.”

‘Gandhi also went to Ajmer Sharif’
Ramjilal Suman said, “They are talking about digging in Ajmer Sharif Dargah. Whereas the world’s greatest person has visited the Dargah. There is no one here who has not visited.” He said, “Mahatma Gandhi also visited the Dargah of Ajmer Sharif during his visit to India. Every year, the Dargah is covered with a Chadar (sheet) on behalf of the Prime Minister.”

‘Symbol of Hindu-Muslim unity’
SP’s national general secretary Ramjilal Suman said, “This dargah is a symbol of Hindu-Muslim unity. The number of Hindus at this dargah is more than that of Muslims.” On the allegations being made by the minority community, he said, “The ideal of the Muslims of India is not Babar, but the Muslims here consider Prophet Mohammad Sahib as their ideal.”

Referring to the old statement of the RSS Chief, Ramjilal Suman said, “Mohan Bhagwat had said in June 2022 that searching for a temple under every mosque should be stopped. This spoils the mutual harmony.” He said, “We want those who are trying to spoil the harmony to desist from their actions. They should not do anything that attacks our Ganga-Jamuni culture.”

‘Dargah is recorded in history’
SP MP Ramjilal Suman said, “Ajmer Sharif Dargah dates back to the eleventh century. Mughals came to our country in the 15th century, this truth is recorded in the books and history of the Government of India.” He said, “Dargah Committee is a statutory body established under the Khwaja Saheb Act 1955.”

Rajya Sabha member Ramjilal Suman said, “In the year 1950, Justice Ghulam Hasan’s committee had investigated and confirmed the existence of a dargah here.” He said, “Our culture and civilization is being targeted by these acts, this Dargah is a symbol of our Hindu-Muslim unity.”
