73763 voters will decide the fate of 12 candidates

12 candidates are trying their luck in the election field. 73763 voters will vote in the second phase on May 11. There is a large number of Muslim voters in Mahoba Municipality. SP has fielded former district president Babu Mansuri. BSP has bet on Samad Rhine. Election is very important for both the parties. Political analysts HK Poddar and Bhagwandin also point out that both the parties could never win from the beginning of contesting elections. This is the reason that both the parties are making every possible effort to open an account on this seat, but the ruling party is also not weak in this direction.

Will SP-BSP’s account be opened due to caste equation?

Let us tell you that till now the Sadar seat of Mahoba Nagar Palika Parishad has been occupied by BJP and Congress. Seeing the caste equation, Akhilesh Yadav has bet on the new face Babu Mansuri. There are five seats in the municipal body in Mahoba district. Mahoba and Charkhari Nagar Palika seats are being eyed by other major parties including BJP, SP and Congress. This time the Sadar seat of Mahoba Nagar Palika Parishad is reserved for backward classes. The chair of the chairman of the Charkhari Municipal Council is reserved for a backward caste woman. The seat of Nagar Panchayat Kabrai has been reserved for backward caste women. The seat of Nagar Panchayat Kharela is also reserved for backward caste women this time.

In the five bodies of the district, only the seat of Nagar Panchayat Kulpahar is unreserved. Most of the independent people have been elected on the Sadar seat of Mahoba Nagar Palika Parishad. Candidates from major parties were contesting in the election of 1988, but Satish Chandra Saxena won the seat as an independent candidate. In the year 1995, independent candidate Munni Devi was elected for the Sadar seat. In the year 2000, Rajkumari hoisted the flag of victory independently. In the year 2006, the seat of Sadar came under the control of Congress. In 2012, Pushpa Anuragi fed the BJP’s lotus. Independent Dilasha Tiwari was elected in the year 2017 elections. BJP and Congress have won the Sadar seat of Mahoba Nagar Palika Parishad once each. But only independent people have been elected on this seat.

In the year 1988, an independent candidate became the chairman. In the year 1995, the woman had hoisted the flag of victory as an independent candidate. In the year 2006 elections also, the woman was to get the post of chairman. Coming to the election field as an independent, he had failed the equations of other parties. In the year 2017 also, the woman captured this seat while contesting the elections independently. The seat was held by the Congress in 2006 and the BJP in 2012. But this time the leaders of both the parties are also claiming their own victory.

SP District President Shobhalal Yadav, SP leader Satosh Sahu, SP candidate Babu Mansuri himself have claimed victory on the basis of the development works done by the SP government. BSP describes itself as strong. If BJP’s former Mandal Coordinator Rajendra Solanki is to be believed, the BSP candidate had finished second in the civic body elections last time and this time his victory is certain. He says that the workers at the booth level should spread propaganda day and night and tell about the development works of Behenji.
