Sonali Phogat Death Mystery: The death of 43-year-old Sonali Phogat, a contestant of Tiktok star, reality TV show Bigg Boss and BJP leader, is yet to be solved. Some videos have come out before his death, on the basis of which the cause of death has come to know that he was given drugs, due to which his health had deteriorated. Why they were given drugs is being investigated. In this case, Goa Police has arrested five people so far, out of which three accused have been sent to five-day police custody.
The owner of Curlies Club did not get bail
Curly restaurant owner Edwin Nunes, accused in the Sonali Phogat murder case, drug smuggler Rama Mandrekar and another accused Dattaprasad Gaonkar were produced before Goa’s Mapusa court a day after their arrest in the case. The court has sent three accused in the Sonali Phogat murder case – Curley’s owner Edwin Nunes, and Dattaprasad Gaonkar – to five-day police custody and the court has also rejected the bail plea of Curley’s club owner Edwin Nunes.
Rama Mandrekar is accused of delivering drugs to drug peddler Dutt Prasad Gaonkar, after which Gaonkar sold drugs to Sonali Phogat’s PA Sudhir Sangwan. The police had on Saturday recovered synthetic drugs from the toiletries of Curlies’ restaurant, following which the restaurant owner was arrested.
Goa CM said – Will hand over the matter to CBI if needed
Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Sunday said Sonali Phogat’s death case would be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) if necessary, after all necessary formalities. CM Sawant said, “Haryana CM Khattar spoke with me and requested for a thorough investigation into the matter. He wants the CBI to look into the matter. After personally meeting Phogat’s family members and their request, CM has made this request to Goa CM.”
Death by methamphetamine
Drugs are said to be the cause of Sonali Phogat’s death. In the CCTV footage recovered in the case of Phogat’s death, it is seen that when she was on the dance floor, an attempt was made to make her drink something forcibly. In that footage, he is seen forcibly making his PA Sudhir Sangwan drink drinks.
Let us inform that Goa Police arrested and interrogated two drug smugglers including Sonali’s PA Sudhir Sangwan and his friend Sukhwinder Sheoran, owner of Curly’s restaurant, when it came to light in that interrogation that Sonali was given the drug a few hours before her death. It was methamphetamine. Methamphetamine is considered a very dangerous drug.
Please tell that Sonali Phogat had gone to Goa on 22 August and was brought dead to the hospital on 23 August, a day after coming to Goa. So far the reason for Sonali Phogat’s death has not been revealed.
