‘Soft launch’ of Parliament’s new website, know what is special about it


New Parliament Website Soft Launch: Parliament on Saturday (8 April) unveiled its new website, which is said to have a ‘pop-up window’ for live telecast of Sansad TV and options for easy access. Parliament officials said that the new website was ‘soft launched’ on Saturday and the existing website will be replaced soon.

In this regard, an official said that the website has not yet been formally launched. The ‘Digital Parliament’ website opens with a ‘snapshot’ of history from 1857 to the present through photographs of key events and ends with a photograph of the new Parliament House.

Apart from this, options have also been provided to know about the profile of MPs, their attendance in Parliament, visits, questions asked by them in Parliament and expenditure incurred under MP Local Area Development Scheme etc. Search option has also been given to know about MPs.
