Snake court will be held here on the second day of Diwali, snakes will come on trial, will tell the reason for biting!

Happy Diwali 2024: A unique court will be organized on Padwa on the second day of Diwali in village Lasudia Parihar, located 30 kilometers away from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Actually, this court will not be set up for humans but for snakes. Even on appearance in this court, snakes will come and tell the reason for the bite. This tradition has been going on not for one or two years but for 100 years. In this unique court, snake victims not only come from Bhopal-Sehore but from other districts of the state.

There are different traditions of Diwali festival. Amidst these traditions, there is a village on Indore-Bhopal Highway, 30 kilometers away from Bhopal, whose name is Lasudia Parihar. There is a temple of Hanuman ji in this village. According to the elders of the village, a snake court has been held at this temple on Padwa, the second day of Diwali, for the last 100 years. Such people reach this court who have been bitten by a snake. Villagers not only from Sehore-Bhopal but from the entire state’s districts come to this performance. Also, a large number of people come to see this curiosity.

People wave to the tune of Kandi
Bholaram Tyagi of village Lasudia Parihar says that this snake court has been organized in the village for more than 100 years. During this time, people who have been bitten by snakes during the year come. Here, as soon as the tune of Kandi starts playing, people start waving. During this, Panda ji is asked the reason for the bite, on which the snake comes into the victim’s body and explains the reason for biting.

In the court of snakes, when Panda ji asks the reason for the snake coming on the victim, he tells that I lived peacefully on the farm, my house was demolished, hence I bit him, then he gives some other reason for biting. After this, Panda ji takes a promise from the concerned snake not to bite it again and the snake that came into the victim’s body makes the promise. A large number of people come to see this event.
