Varanasi is also the parliamentary constituency of PM Modi, so the administration is trying to do all possible help to the people there.

On the other hand, 8 villages in Ballia district of Purvanchal have been completely submerged in water. Rivers in Ballia are in spate due to release of 25 lakh cusecs of water from Dholpur barrage. The river Ganges is submerging village to village. The village has been flooded up to 5 feet, due to which boats have started running in the area. Roads are submerged in water.
