Skoda is preparing to bring many new vehicles, 6 EV models will also be included

Upcoming Skoda Electric Cars: Skoda Auto has announced that it is going to introduce six new all-electric vehicles by 2026. This will include two updated Enyaq iV models along with two electric SUVs, one electric MPV and one electric wagon. According to the company, by 2025, it is working on a plan to bring a small affordable EV in the market with a budget of up to € 25,000 (i.e. around Rs 22.5 lakh).

Skoda will bring these models

The company has introduced the clay model of its upcoming four electric cars. This includes a 4.1 meter long Born EV, a compact SUV, a combi vehicle based on the Octavia and a 4.9 meter long MPV. Skoda’s new small electric SUV may be named Elroq, which will be the electric replacement of the company’s Karoq in the global market.

Talking about the Skoda Elroq, it will be a small electric car based on the Born EV architecture. After launching, this car will compete with cars like Jeep Avenger, Ford Explorer EV and Mini Aceman. This will be the first Skoda car to feature the company’s new rugged ‘modern solid’ design theme. Its styling theme includes a bumpy front fascia look called the tech deck. It gets squared-off wheel arches along with big skidplates at the front and rear.

The company’s Enyok powertrain can be used in the Skoda Elroc, in which a 77kWh battery pack can be given. Once this car is charged, it will be able to give a range of about 480 km. Along with this, the option of a new 86kWh battery pack can also be seen. Dual electric motor system can be seen in the powerful edition of Elroq. This setup will be able to generate power of around 300bhp. The company can name it as Skoda Elrock VRS.

Will compete with Jeep Avenger

Skoda’s new Elrok can compete with the Jeep Avenger sold in the global market, which is expected to arrive in India by the end of this year.
