Shubhman also has a sister, whose name is Shahneel Gill, who is active on social media and remains in constant discussions. It can be seen in the post going viral that Shahneel Gill was born on 16 December 1999. If we look at the birthdays of both the brothers and sisters, there is a difference of only 3 months. In such a situation, Indian cricketers are being accused of cheating by changing their age.

What is the truth?

Such posts have gone viral before too, but Gujarat Titans had shared a video on Instagram about a year ago on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. In that video clip, the sisters of the players playing for Gujarat had expressed their love for their brothers. In the same video, Shahneel Gill had revealed that there is an age difference of two and a half years between him and Shubman.

In this video, Shahneel Gill says, “We used to be each other’s best friends in childhood. We always used to hang out together. But when Shubman started going out to play matches and mostly stayed out of the house, then it was time for me. It was difficult because I did not have many friends since there was a difference of only two and a half years in our age. I used to be very shy in my childhood, whereas Shubman used to do a lot of mischief.
