Delhi Liquor Policy Case: Former Deputy CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia has suffered a setback in the Delhi liquor policy matter. Rouse Avenue Court has extended the judicial custody of Sisodia till May 15 in the CBI case related to the case.
Rouse Avenue Court located in Delhi will hold the next hearing on May 15. Apart from this, Sisodia is already in judicial custody till May 8 in the ED case related to money laundering related to Delhi Excise Policy.
Actually, both ED and CBI investigating agencies are investigating Sisodia’s role in the Delhi Liquor Policy case. Sisodia was arrested in February last year.

What have ED and CBI claimed?
ED and CBI have claimed that there were irregularities in the implementation and preparation of Delhi Liquor Policy. AAP leaders and many ministers in Delhi’s Kejriwal government have been involved in this. ED has recently named AAP’s national convenor Kejriwal as its main conspirator.
ED had arrested Kejriwal on March 21 and he is currently lodged in Tihar Jail. AAP countered the Central Investigation Agency’s claim regarding the matter and said that BJP Lok Sabha Elections In view of this, CM Kejriwal has been arrested and all this is being done in the spirit of political vendetta, but people are with us.
