Shock to Karnataka CM! Congress Chief defended on FIR

The People’s Court had ordered the Mysore Lokayukta to investigate the alleged scam in the MUDA case against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, after which the Lokayukta Police has now registered an FIR against Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and others. The court had ordered to register an FIR under CrPC. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharg has defended Siddaramaiah regarding this.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, “Law will take its own course… MUDA people can take whatever action they want. It is not necessary that the government should respond to it, because it is an autonomous body, they can take action… .If Siddaramaiah has personally committed any crime then he is responsible, but he did not do anything like that… His (BJP) main objective is to defame the Congress party, this is not appropriate, his (Siddaramaiah) should resign from the post. There is no question of giving…”

In the FIR, Siddaramaiah has been named as accused number 1, his wife Parvati as accused number 2 and Bamaida Mallikarjunaswami as accused number 3. The court has given instructions to conduct investigation under Section 156 (3) of CrPC and file the investigation report by December 24.
