Farmer Protests Shambhu Border: There was a clash at Shambhu border between 101 farmers marching to Delhi demanding various demands including MSP and the police. When the farmers tried to remove the barricades put up by the police, the police fired tear gas shells and also used water cannons, in which many farmers were injured.
‘It is being treated like Pakistan border’
Regarding this, wrestler and national president of Congress Kisan Morcha Bajrang Punia targeted the central government. He said that on one hand the government is saying that we are not stopping the farmers, but on the other hand they are using tear gas and other things.
Bajrang Punia said that the same is being done on Shambhu border as is being done on Pakistan border. He said, “When leaders go to Delhi to protest, do they take permission? Farmers only want MSP for their crops… We will always support the farmers.”
BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP from Haryana Ramchandra Jangra had given a controversial statement saying that 700 girls had gone missing from the place where the farmers had staged a protest. In response to this, Bajrang Punia said, “BJP is saying that 700 girls are missing, these are absurd things. They say that drugs have been spread from Punjab, drugs worth lakhs of crores are being found in the ports of Gujarat. So his tongue doesn’t open.”
‘Government wants to spoil the brotherhood of Punjab-Haryana’
Wrestler Bajrang Punia said, “Such statements are being made to spoil the brotherhood of Punjab-Haryana. The High Court had also said that the roads should be opened. The government is not listening to anyone. We are peacefully They are protesting and will do the same in future also. It is very unfortunate that if the government gives MSP then all the fights will end. Will do, but this government is just talking and not doing anything.”
