Uttarakhand Waqf Board Chairman Shadab Shams: On Monday (December 9), under the leadership of Uttarakhand Waqf Board Chairman Shadab Shams, people of the Muslim community offered chadar at Peeran Kaliyar Sharif and prayed against the alleged atrocities on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh. During this, Shams said that people in Bangladesh are facing religious hatred, temples are being demolished, sisters and daughters are unsafe and democracy has been murdered there.
Shams further said that what is happening in Bangladesh is very worrying and it cannot be ignored under any circumstances. He said in his statement that atrocities on minorities have worsened the situation in Bangladesh where not only religious disagreements have increased but an atmosphere of insecurity and violence has also been created in the society. He also said that the world needs to pay serious attention to the situation there.
Shams gave hope to the exploited people of Bangladesh through Quran’s verse.
On the atrocities taking place in Bangladesh, Shadab Shams quoted a verse from the Quran and said that “Innallah Ma As Sabreen” means that Allah is with the oppressed and against the oppressors. He also said that when the prayers of the oppressed reach God, he destroys the oppressors. In this prayer, the Muslim community wished for peace and security in Bangladesh and expressed hope for justice for the oppressed.
Shams said a big thing for Bangladesh government
Through this prayer, Shams gave the message that the Muslim community is united against the atrocities happening in Bangladesh and will make every possible effort to protect the rights of the oppressed. He believes that these prayers will have an impact and Allah will help the people in getting justice. Shams also said on this occasion that such incidents should be opposed at all costs and the Bangladesh government should fulfill its responsibilities.
