According to Earth Scientist, there are a total of 12 tectonic plates under the earth in the world and whenever these plates collide with each other, an energy is released. This energy is given the name of earthquake, which causes vibrations all over the earth. At the same time, the place where the rocks break or collide is called the center or hypercenter or focus of the earthquake.
