Meeting In BJP Headquarters: BJP President JP Nadda on Friday (June 9) chaired a meeting of national general secretaries at the party headquarters and took stock of organizational and political matters. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP’s Organization General Secretary BL Santosh also participated in this meeting. The meeting took place amid marathon consultations between senior party leaders including Shah, Nadda and BL Santosh.

According to news agency PTI, BJP’s hectic meetings in the last few days have given rise to speculations of change within the organization as the party prepares for elections in several key states including Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Assembly elections are to be held in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan later this year. At the same time, after this, the Lok Sabha elections are to be held in 2024.
There is also speculation about the expansion of NDA.
Sources told that there is also a possibility of a meeting of all BJP MPs in the coming days. There is also talk that the BJP is looking to expand the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) with the possible entry of regional parties like Telugu Desam Party, Akali Dal and JDS. However, so far no official statement has been made on these discussions.
